Zhengdao Chinese Language Association is dedicated to comprehensive Chinese language education and cultural promotion. We offer online and in-person courses, free culture lessons, and events showcasing Chinese calligraphy and artworks. All proceeds from our art sales support our educational programs. Join us to preserve and celebrate Chinese heritage.

Internship Program
The Zhengdao Chinese Language Association (ZDCLA) offers an enriching Internship Program designed to cultivate the next generation of educators, cultural leaders, and global citizens. This program provides university students and recent graduates with meaningful opportunities to engage in Chinese language education, cultural exchange, and nonprofit operations.
Interns work closely with experienced mentors who provide individualized guidance and constructive feedback, helping them develop professional skills while deepening their understanding of cross-cultural collaboration. Each internship is structured to encourage hands-on learning through active participation in projects, events, and community initiatives. Whether conducted online, in-person, or in a hybrid format, the program’s flexible structure allows interns to balance their academic or professional commitments while gaining valuable real-world experience.
Participants not only strengthen their resumes but also become part of a vibrant educational network dedicated to promoting Chinese language and culture in a global context. Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance may be considered for future leadership or paid opportunities within the association.
Available Internship Roles
Student Recruitment & Outreach Intern
The Student Recruitment & Outreach Intern plays a key role in connecting ZDCLA with schools, students, and families. This position involves promoting language and cultural programs through outreach campaigns, community partnerships, and informational events. Interns will assist in designing promotional materials, communicating with educational organizations, and supporting enrollment drives.
Through this experience, interns develop essential skills in communication, networking, and public engagement, while learning how nonprofit organizations build meaningful relationships within diverse communities. This position is ideal for students interested in education, communications, or marketing, and who are passionate about cultural advocacy and community service.


Web Development & Digital Media Intern
The Web Development & Digital Media Intern supports ZDCLA’s online presence by maintaining the organization’s website and creating engaging digital materials. Responsibilities may include updating web content, designing pages, producing short videos, and developing multimedia tools to enhance online learning.
Interns in this role will gain valuable experience in web development, content creation, and user-centered design, while contributing to ZDCLA’s mission of promoting accessible cultural education worldwide. This position is well-suited for candidates with creative or technical interests who want to combine their digital skills with cross-cultural education.
Cultural Programs Intern
The Cultural Programs Intern assists in planning and implementing cultural workshops, traditional calligraphy sessions, and seasonal events celebrating Chinese heritage. Interns will help coordinate logistics, prepare instructional materials, and engage directly with participants to create a welcoming and educational environment.
This internship provides hands-on experience in event coordination, cross-cultural communication, and program facilitation. Interns will deepen their understanding of Chinese traditions while developing leadership and interpersonal skills that are highly valued in education, arts, and community development fields.

Program Coordination Intern
The Program Coordination Intern contributes to the smooth operation of ZDCLA’s educational and cultural initiatives. Interns will assist with scheduling classes, managing program materials, compiling reports, and supporting communication among instructors and participants.
This role provides insight into the organizational structure of a nonprofit educational institution and helps interns strengthen their project management, organization, and teamwork abilities. Interns will learn how programs are developed and executed from planning to completion, gaining a comprehensive understanding of educational program administration.
Online Teaching & Tutoring Intern
The Online Teaching & Tutoring Intern works directly with students of various ages and proficiency levels to support their Chinese language learning. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, interns assist in conducting online lessons, providing one-on-one or small-group tutoring, and creating interactive learning materials that make Chinese language study engaging and accessible.
Interns will have the opportunity to observe live classes, lead short instructional activities, and offer individualized feedback to students based on their progress. Through this experience, interns gain valuable insights into second language pedagogy, differentiated instruction, and online education tools.
This position is ideal for students who are passionate about teaching, education, and language acquisition. Interns will strengthen their skills in lesson preparation, communication, and student engagement, while learning how to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs in a virtual environment.
By the end of the internship, participants will have developed both practical teaching experience and a deeper appreciation for cross-cultural communication—skills that are highly transferable to future careers in education, linguistics, or international programs.
